The World Has Changed

The world has changed. An epic instrumental that begins with the string ensemble playing a mysterious music, which suddenly the choirs are added, with trombones and drums. Tubular bells soon join to give a sense of mystery. This is one of the most powerful instrumentals I have ever made.

The Lonely Tree

The Lonely Tree. This song begins with a simple melody in Harpsichord at which it will soon join the strings. Once the powerful drums has been added to the instrumentation, the choirs and the guitar will do the same. The flute will give a touch of forest that will characterize this full album. This powerful song will rise to the fallen in the battle for the Lonely Tree to the memory. The painting is Deer in a Wooded Landscape by Ernest Lotichius.

"This is the tale of a Lonely Tree, grown unmentionables years ago amidst a huge glade. It had green and shiny leaves. The place where it was, was a forest of conifers, with tall trees like towers, and animals, lot of animals, like squirrels, deers, bears, and more. Always there was a fresh wind, and the bright sky iluminated the landscape. You could climb the mountains and see the sun in its splendor, in that sunset in the afternoon, near the twilight. It was a forest to remember, and a forest to forget.
The Lonely Tree stood in a glade in a valley. It was a mysterious tree, a great tree. It was the forest’s soul. So, the Lonely Tree of the Lonelands, high, mysterious, there stood. The trunk was the body, the leaves were the blood, and the roots were the soul. It was a prized tree, because everyone wanted to posses it. But no one could have it, therefore they all will die for it.
All realms and races wanted to possess the tree, and is under its branches where they all will die for it. The realms fought, the kings were murdered by the noble people, and the noble people were murdered by other noble people, or by normal prople. Workers, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters... all were murderers and victims because they all wanted to have the power of the tree.
A hero must have to fall. Not one, not two, nor three. An army, a realm... a race. Under its branches they’ll die for it. The Lonely Tree alone will remain, because none will be able to reclaim it. The only visitors of the tree will be the forest creatures. The war will come, and for the tree they’ll fight, and for it they’ll die, for ever, and ever. And someday the war will have to cease, but that will be only when not one man left standing. Because the Lonely Tree alone will live. For ever, and ever."

Lyrics

This is the tale of a Lonely Tree
grown unmentionables years ago
amidst a huge glade
with green and shiny leaves

In a forest of conifers
tall trees like towers
with animals and fresh wind
and a bright sky

Squirrels, deers, bears and more
through this forest they go
a forest to remember
a forest to forget

You could climb the mountains
and see the sun in its splendor
it's a forest to remember
it's forest to forget

In a glade in a valley
the Lonely Tree there stands
a mysterious tree, and great
it is the forest's soul

The Lonely Tree of the Lonelands
high, mysterious, there stands
body, blood and soul
trunk, leaves and roots

The tree was prized
because everyone wanted to possess it
but no one could have it
therefore they all will die for it

All realms and races
wanted to possess the tree
and is under its branches
where they all will die for it

[Chorus 1]

A hero must have to fall
not one, not two, nor three
an army, a realm, a race
under its branches they'll die for it

The Lonely Tree alone remain
the sacred tree none will reclaim
the forest creatures, only visitors
Nobody will claim the Lonely Tree

A hero must have to fall
not one, not two, nor three
an army, a realm, a race
under its branches they'll die for it

The war will come
and for it they'll fight
and for it they'll die
for ever, and ever

[Chorus 2]

A hero must have to fall
not one, not two, nor three
an army, a realm, a race
under its branches they'll die for it

The Lonely Tree alone remain
the sacred tree none will reclaim
the forest creatures, only visitors
Nobody will claim the Lonely Tree

A hero must have to fall
not one, not two, nor three
an army, a realm, a race
under its branches they'll die for it

And so the war will have to cease
when not one man left standing
the Lonely Tree alone will live
forever and ever

Might and Glory

Might and Glory. The title of this song is an intentional wink to the song Might and Glory (Oath Bound)  by Summoning. It begins with a simple melody to create the atmosphere that soon the strings, choirs and drums join. The bridges of the song are simply epic. The theme song can be related to the Nordic Einherjer, fallen soldiers in battle that were brought to Valhalla by the Valkyries, to see Odin. The theme of peace may be related that until the Ragnarök doesn't finish, won't be rest for these warriors.

Lyrics

In thousands of battles you'll have to fight
seeing the moon, seeing the light
when darkness covers the world
under the sing of the owl

Through the trees, in the wood
your sword will be stained with blood
and when you look at the heaven
you will see flying the raven

The stars are far in the sky
sometimes you don't see any light
sometimes comes the hope
when comes the dawn

So when you are in the battlefield
carrying your sword, and your shield
your armour, your arrows, your bow
to pass the enemy you won't allow

[Chorus 1]

Might and Glory is all what you want
for to get it you first have to fall
in the battlefield you’ll be tested
and when you die you'll go with the gods

Might and Glory is all what you want
for to get it you first have to fall
with blood your sword will be stained
with your blood the ground will be farmed

[Chorus 2]

Might and Glory is all what you want
for to get it you first have to fall
when the peace rules all the kingdoms
then you'll be able to rest in your home

Might and Glory is all what you want
for to get it you first have to fall
when rules the peace, and you die...
is when you... will be remembered

...when rules the peace, and you die...

is when you... will be remembered

Feasting Under The Leaves

Feasting under the Leaves. It's a song that pretends to be cheerful. The flute gives a folk touch that meant to be in an atmosphere of celebration in a forest glade with a fire in the center, where the wind is moving the leaves as the main instrument. Shepherds of Trees is a small wink to the Ents of J.R.R. Tolkien. So this party could be the Ent-counter in Entmoot, where they meet.

Lyrics

In a glade in the forest
some music you can hear
it's something you can't see
it's the wind, through the leaves

Woodwind instruments, can you feel?
only here you can be free
it's something you can't see
it's the wind, through the leaves

In the middle you can see
a big and warm fire
it illuminates the night
with its bright light

It is as a big eye
looking up on the sky
it illuminates the night
with its bright light

[Chorus 1]

Feasting under the leaves
Woodwind instruments, can you feel?
the warm wind, the warm fire
it warms you, with its light

Feasting under the leaves
Woodwind instruments, can you feel?
all of them are here
They are the Shepherds of Trees

In a glade in the forest
some music you can hear
it's something you can't see
it's the wind, through the leaves

all the animals are here
only here you can be free
Woodwind instruments, can you feel?
it's the wind, through the leaves

[Chorus 2]

Feasting under the leaves
Woodwind instruments, can you feel?
the warm wind, the warm fire
it warms you, with its light

Feasting under the leaves
Woodwind instruments, can you feel?
all of them are here

They are the Shepherds of Trees

Forest Melancholy

Forest Melancholy. This song starts with acoustic guitar, which will be joined by the strings and flute firstly. Once all the instruments are there you start noticing more deeply the word "melancholy". The lyrics can be interpreted in many ways, since the forest is the love, love to a person that the listener might think...

Lyrics

Here begins my journey
through these eternal Woodlands
the path have no end
it's a long march

Through this forest I walk
through trees, through grass
alone, with you
I'll be alive till my last... breath

I'll be with you forever
with these trees, with these leaves
my soul is in this forest
and my heart is with you

You are my fellow traveler
I'll follow you where you go
my soul is in this forest
and my heart is with... you

[Chorus 1]

All I want is you
all I love is you
don't mind where we are
just mind that we're together

All I want is you
all I love is you
in this life we'll live
the death won't separate us

All I want is you
all I love is you
don't mind where we are
just mind that we're together

All I want is you
all I love is you
in the inmensity of this forest

we'll remain... together

Moonlight Over The Sky

Moonlight over the Sky. Also known as simply "Moonlight", this song begins with a piano piece. The strings, choirs, and other instruments will emerge soon giving that epic touch, making you feel as if you were on the peak of a mountain talking to the moon. This song also has many interpretations. It can be a hymn to the moon, a person...

Lyrics

So far is the moon...
So far is the moon of my hands
With her shining eyes
Accelerate my heart so fast

I'm on the peak of the mountain
Looking at the moon
Looking how the moon is seeing me
with her shining eyes penetrate my ... heart

I try to reach her
I try to reach her warmth
But she is far and she is cold
She owns a searing cold

I shout in the darkness her name
Could I understand...
that this eternal love
is only in my and her ... heart

[Chorus 1]

So the Moon is there in the sky
with her light she illuminates my path
She warms my heart,
and gives life to my soul
She's the light of my eyes

So far is the moon...
So far is the moon of my hands
With her shining eyes
Accelerate my heart so fast

I'm on the peak of the mountain
Looking at the moon
Looking how the moon is seeing me
with her shining eyes penetrate my ... heart

[Chorus 2]

The Mistress of the Night
She is cold, she is warm, she is bright
She warms the hearts
and gives life to the souls
the Moonlight don't die... won't die

[Chorus 3]

So the Moon is there in the sky
with her light she illuminates my path
She warms my heart,
and gives life to my soul
She's the light of my eyes

The Mistress of the Night
She is cold, she is warm, she is bright
She warms the hearts
and gives life to the souls
the Moonlight don't die... won't die

Woodlands Memorial

Woodlands Memorial. It can also be interpreted as a cemetery or conmemorative monument. It speaks about the end of the journey through the forest. Starting with a classic church organ, this powerful song rise the deads of the forest to bring them to life again with this sinister theme from the afterlife.

Lyrics

I am coming to the end
this is what I felt
I feel cold, and darkness
all around this landscape

Forgotten memories come to my mind
my eyes, they blind
while I walk through this trees
roots, grass and leaves

Great and painful memories
they come from the libraries
the libraries of my mind
thoughts against which I fight

The spirits of the past follow me
they try to hurt me
and they try to heal me
with the great and painful memories

I am coming to the end
this is what I felt
I feel cold, and darkness
all around this landscape

Forgotten memories come to my mind
my eyes, they blind
while I walk through this trees
roots, grass and leaves

[Chorus 1]

Skogskyrkogården

The First Light On The Grass

The first light on the grass. This instrumental is very simple, and is intended to transmit the transition between night and day, and a sense of peace. Birds singing, and a sound that can be the wind, are what start. To interpret the change between night and day with the the birds also sing a little owl. Thus, acoustic guitar joins until that the end of the journey.

Moonlight over the Sky (Old Version)

This is the first version of this song, but it isn't the final.
